James R. Benn is the author of a mystery series set during WWII. The most recent, Blood Alone, was selected by Bookpage as the Mystery of the Month for September 2008 and also selected as an Indie Next Pick for October. The debut title in the series, Billy Boyle, was named by Book Sense as one of the top five mysteries of 2006 and nominated for a Dilys Award. Benn lives in Hadlyme, Connecticut.
